Once upon a time way back in the 1990's there was a cool UK power pop band that came out on the excellent Minus Zero label. The name of that band was called SKOOSHNY. Despite winning some loyal fans, the band soon fell off the radar and vanished from sight. No one knew if we would ever hear from the band again. But then when we least expect it, SON OF SKOOSHNY is here! It's pretty much in the same spirit of the original. But we find this is quantum leaps superior to the previous releases. It delivers the goods in full. This is great jangly power pop that any Byrds, Tom Petty, Starry Eyed and Laughing fan should feel right at home with. The spirit of McGuinn, Clark , and Hillman, lives on in this music! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Good playin', good singin', and good tunes!
