This new band is the brain child of power pop guy JEFF SHELTON ...(best known for his other bands WELL WISHERS , and SPINNING JENNIES ) So what makes this band a little different than the previous ones mentioned is the addition of SHOEGAZE, and DREAMPOP elements along with the POWER POP. Fans of bands like RIDE, and SWERVEDRIVER, and STONE ROSES are highly inclined to love their sound! But really this is still power pop in many ways. Regardless of what the band name may be, if JEFF SHELTON is involved its going to be really excellent! and DEADLIGHTS is one of the finest cds to appear in 2021. GRADE A....get it!!!
